Jesus is King Revelation 19:16

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The Bible says at the moment of accepting by faith the gift of salvation, the sinner is born again and becomes a new creature in Christ. On this page we will look at who the Bible says you know are and what these means for you.

-As a Christian the Bible says you are now a child of God, John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: As a child of God, your entire identity is now in Jesus Christ. The Bible says when by faith you accepted the Gospel you were identified with Jesus on the cross. Jesus literally became your sin and died the death you deserved. God sees all of your sin, past, present and future on His Son, your old man is dead. Your life with God is now not identified by your sin but with Christ, Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. This is one of the greatest truths in the Christian faith, Christians are in Christ. No matter what is going on in our life, whether good or bad we are always with Jesus. As a Christian this has to be the source of your strength. You are a new creature in Christ but you still have your old mind and the old way of thinking that goes along with it. As Christians we must continually renew our mind with God's truth, Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

-The source of our truth must be God's Word, the Bible. Jesus when being tempted by Satan said, Luke 4:44 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. The only way to live by every word of God is to know what His word is. The Bible is the words of God given to man so we may know truth, 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: The Bible teaches us doctrine-what's right, reproof-what's not right, correction-how to get right, and instruction-how to stay right. So begin the journey of learning God's will and read your Bible daily, King James Version. A good place to start is Romans.

-As a Christian we have the privilege of prayer. In a moment through prayer we have access to God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives to make intercession for us, Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. The Bible says God knows everything we need before we ever ask Matthew 6:8 for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. We pray to get our minds lined up with Him, realizing God is in control of all things and He will take care of us a children, Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Even when we don't know how to pray, the Bible says the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Take advantage of the privilege you now have as often as possible. A great place to learn more about prayer is Romans chapter 8.

-Christians are called to assemble and be with other Christians, Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. We are to be with other Christians, you need to find a fellowship of believers, a church. Biblically, the Church is all born again believers around the world, it isn't any denomination. When looking for a church, look for a church the believes the Bible and teaches it.

-There are many more things a Chrisitan is called to do but lastly, we are to look and wait for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; The Bible teaches this event could happen at any moment, Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. As we wait we are called to share the Gospel with all people, Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Telling all people about the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS, Revelation 19:16
